The Guinness World Records recognized the garden at the mall “Fordaliso” in the Italian town of Rozzano largest vertical garden in the world.
This garden has surpassed the previous record holder – a vertical garden in Madrid, which is 844 sq.m.
Garden-record covers an area of 1263 sq.m.
There is growing 44,000 plants.
Garden opened in 2010, and created his architect Francesco Bollani, who said: “We took a year to grow plants in the greenhouse and 90 days for the construction of the facade.”
“The process of creating the garden was like a huge collection of Lego!”
For the construction of the garden, which uses small metal containers, and there is no ground, took 1.3 million dollars.
